The search area for Francisco Oropeza, the 38-year-old suspected of killing five neighbors on Friday evening in Cleveland with an Ar-15 semi-automatic rifle, including an 8-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl, is expanded after one of them he had asked to stop shooting in the garden.

The man - according to reports from the county sheriff - could still be armed.

Two nights ago, the 38-year-old, irritated by the request of his neighbors, entered their home and opened fire.

The victims are all originally from Honduras, while Oropeza is from Mexico.

Two of the women killed were found lying on top of the surviving children in a bedroom, "trying to protect them," the sheriff said. Oropeza often shot in the backyard, as if it were a shooting range. And earlier the authorities had gone to talk to him, hoping to get him to stop. The neighbors' request must have irritated him, triggering the tragedy.
