Taiwan, new maxi raid of 25 Chinese planes and 5 ships

The Chinese military carried out another major raid around Taiwan with 25 planes and 5 naval vessels , following 24 planes and 7 ships on Monday. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Taipei, according to which "the national army has sent planes and ships on a mission" and activated "the ground missile systems to monitor the situation".

Among the detected jets, 10 have crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait or ended up in the Airline Identification Zone (Adiz) .

The pressure therefore increases in view of the double stopover in the USA (12 and 16 August) of the vice president of Taipei Lai Ching-te on his trip to Paraguay.
