Raid against a school in Gaza, Hamas: "One hundred dead". Israel: "Terrorists hit"
Palestinian spokesman: "The victims are displaced people". IDF: "A checkpoint and command post was reached with precision"Gaza's Hamas-run civil defense agency said an Israeli offensive hit a school in Gaza City yesterday.
"The toll is between 90 and 100 dead and dozens injured," said spokesman Mahmoud Basal, specifying that there were three Israeli attacks against the Al-Tabai'een school which houses "displaced Palestinians".
In a statement released on Telegram, the Israeli military confirmed the strike, explaining that the Air Force "precisely hit Hamas terrorists operating inside a command and control center in Al-Tabai'een school and located next to the mosque in Daraj Tuffah, which is used as a shelter by Gaza City residents."
The center, the IDF highlights, " was used as a hideout for terrorists and Hamas commanders. Numerous attacks against the Israeli military and the State of Israel were planned from there."
