Today, the Estonian Police and Border Guard detected an illegal crossing of a temporary control line between Estonia and Russia at the Narva River breakwater by three Russian border guards. Estonian Border Guard patrols responded to the border incident. Shortly thereafter, the Russian border guards returned to Russian territory.
This was reported in the Tallinn Foreign Ministry's 10th edition, adding that "Estonia will ask for explanations during a meeting of border representatives and the Estonian Foreign Ministry will summon the Charge d'Affaires of the Russian Embassy."
The German tabloid Bild also published a video showing three Russian soldiers in uniform crossing the Estonian border into NATO territory.
