“We continue to fight with all our strength to destroy Hamas, to prevent Gaza from threatening us again and to ensure that all the hostages return home.” Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu reiterated this, taking stock of the conflict against Palestinian militiamen, which began after the attacks on the Jewish state on 7 October.

«The war will continue – added the leader of Tel Aviv – until all objectives are achieved. And the land maneuver in Gaza is necessary to achieve this goal."

According to the Israeli prime minister, the Israeli hostages in Gaza are in fact "prisoners of the Devil", therefore it cannot be negotiated.

Meanwhile, after the end of the truce, violent fighting resumed.

As for the hostages, the head of the Hamas political office, Saleh al-Arouri, said in an interview with Al Jazeera that the organization had handed over all the women and children and that now in the hands of the militiamen «only men and women remain soldiers."

The Palestinian militiamen also confirm that negotiations for another truce are no longer underway (Israel has withdrawn its negotiators from the Doha table) and that Hamas will not free any more hostages without a global ceasefire and the release of all Palestinian prisoners .
