Fear for the president of Iran Ebrahim Raisi: the helicopter he was traveling in suffered an "abrupt landing". Iranian state television reported this.

From what we understand, Raisi was traveling in the Iranian province of East Azerbaijan when - apparently due to bad weather conditions - the aircraft had a problem and the pilots made an emergency landing.

According to the Mehr agency, neither Raisi nor anyone else was injured in the accident, with the president - it is specified - having "immediately resumed his journey to Tabriz".
