Ilaria Salis wrote to the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, the Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, the Justice Minister Carlo Nordio and the Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi to ask to serve the precautionary measure of house arrest in the Italian embassy in Budapest to avoid « dangers for her safety, for her family and for the Italian citizens who assist her".
This was announced by Roberto Salis, father of the teacher of Sardinian origin accused in Hungary and candidate for the European elections with the Green-Left Alliance.
The dangers Salis refers to are the revelation of his address in court and the threats he received through a neo-Nazi website .
