Ilaria Salis ' lawyers will ask for house arrest in Hungary for the Italian woman, detained in the Hungarian country on charges of attacking two neo-Nazi militants during a demonstration.

This was announced by the teacher's father, of Sardinian origin, explaining that the request will be forwarded at the hearing on March 28th, the second on the Salis case.

Salis held a conference in the European Chamber, stating: "In these days Ilaria is agitated, the statements of the Hungarian government have demoralized her, her interference in justice does not make us think of the best."

“My daughter's situation has gradually become more and more of a political process,” continued Roberto Salis. Adding: «On February 28, the Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto effectively declared that they defined my daughter as guilty, hoping for an exemplary punishment. All this in a state of law and in a member country is unacceptable."
