"It is not time for a New Year's party", with these words the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, after the summit with the Regions on Covid, announced a new series of restrictions to contain the new wave of Covid-19 infections.

Under the new provisions, from December 28 in Germany, contacts will be reduced to groups of up to ten people in the case of vaccinated people. In the case of the unvaccinated, the reduction will be more drastic, allowing at most the meeting of one residential unit and two people of another. However, children under 14 are not considered.

Not only that: from December 28, football matches will be held behind closed doors. In addition, discos and nightclubs will have to close from December 28th.
