She tried to escape but was stopped by Imgard F., a 96-year-old German accused of aiding and abetting the massacre of 11,000 people when she was secretary of the Nazi concentration camp of Stutthof, in Gdansk.

The woman between 1943 and 1945 had helped in the systematic murder of prisoners.

This morning she was expected in court, which had issued an arrest warrant against her, but the 96-year-old left her home in Quickborn and took a taxi to the subway station on the outskirts of Hamburg.

But shortly after she was found, the police took her and brought her to the court: "A doctor - said a spokesman for the Court - will decide if she can be taken into custody and the Court will determine if the arrest warrant it can be executed or if you will be spared prison ”.
