Floods and landslides, maximum alert in Beijing

Maximum alert in Beijing due to the risk of floods and landslides .

The authorities in the Chinese capital have launched the "red" alert , the maximum level, due to the rains brought by typhoon Doskuri .

"Most of the suburbs are at high risk of collapses, landslides and mud avalanches ," reads the note issued by the authorities.

There are already two deaths recorded in the capital due to torrential rains, as reported by local media.
