Fire on the GNV Valencia-Mallorca ferry: «Ship adrift»

Great fear on board the ferry "Tenacia" , of the Grandi Navi Veloci (GNV) group , where a fire broke out during the night .
The flames , currently already extinguished, broke out from the engine room .
The boat, which set sail from Valencia, is headed to Palma de Mallorca : 411 people on board, all unharmed .
For the moment, the ferry remained at sea with passengers on board , at a distance of about 22 miles from the island of Ibiza, according to the Efe news agency.
The Spanish maritime rescue service, Salvamento Marítimo, is active to manage this situation.
The families of passengers on board can call the number 0039/0102094599, activated by GNV, to obtain information on the case.
