Explosions in Kiev, Zelensky: "13 drones launched from Moscow, we shot them all down"

Explosions this morning in Kiev.

This was also confirmed by the mayor of the city Vitalii Klitschko, quoted by the Kyiv Independent. The explosions allegedly took place in the Shevchenkivskyi district, in a central area of the Ukrainian capital.

Russian forces reportedly launched drones at the city, damaging administrative buildings. A house in the village of Vyshneve - in the Kiev region - was also hit.

Ukraine's air defenses shot down "all 13 drones launched" by Russian forces this morning in the attack on Kiev , Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.

The attack follows media reports yesterday that Washington is finalizing a plan to send Patriot air defense missiles to Kiev .

"They will unconditionally become legitimate targets if they are supplied to Kiev," confirmed Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, as reported by Tass.
