At least 25 people died following three explosions this morning in the vicinity of some schools in Kabul, according to the Aamak News agency quoted by the Russian Tass.

The most fatalities occurred after two consecutive explosions outside Abdul Rahim Shahid High School, in a Shia neighborhood in the western part of the Afghan capital.

Khalid Zadran, spokesman for the Taliban police in Kabul, spoke of "victims among our Shiite brothers".

A large community of Hazara ethnicity lives in the neighborhood.
