The Russian Interior Ministry has included Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas along with other senior leaders of the Baltic countries on the wanted list . According to the independent newspaper Mediazona, among those wanted there are also members or former members of the Lithuanian and Latvian governments .

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed the news, specifying that the prime minister was included in the list for "hostile actions against Russia and against its historical memory" .

«These are people – continued Peskov – responsible for decisions that are an outrage to historical memory. Baltic politicians are taking hostile actions both towards historical memory and towards our country ."

The accusations are not specified in the ministry's database, but according to Mediazona they refer to the destruction in their countries of monuments commemorating the role of Soviet soldiers in the defeat of Nazism in the Second World War.
