Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez got married in Cascais , Portugal, the couple announced via their Instagram profiles. The ceremony took place in great secrecy, with only their five children present. Rumors of the impending wedding had been circulating for weeks, first in Lisbon and then at the cathedral in Funchal, on the island of Madeira, where just a few days earlier a crowd of onlookers, tourists, and journalists had gathered following the buzz on social media.

After celebrating his wedding with his partner Georgina Rodriguez, Cristiano Ronaldo shared a photo of their hands with their wedding rings on his Instagram account , accompanied by a short text as a caption: the letters "C" and "G", the initials of their names, together with a heart.

The wedding ceremony took place in the Portuguese seaside resort of Cascais, near Lisbon, the Brunswick Group, which handles the player's public relations, told AFP.
