Shock in Nigeria. This morning at dawn a group of bandits attacked the parish residence of the Catholic church of St. Peter and Paul in Kafin-Koro, in the Paikoro region.
A priest, Isaac Achi, was killed, burned alive. "The bandits - reports the head of public relations of the police in the state, Wasiu Abiodun - tried to enter the residence, but they failed, and they set fire to the house, so the reverend father was charred to death". His charred body was recovered.
Another priest, Father Collins, was wounded in the back while trying to escape: he was taken to hospital to be treated.
