There could be a settling of scores behind the massacre carried out in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico, where 10 people were killed in a pool hall .

An armed commando entered the premises of the town of Tarimoro and opened fire. Nine men died immediately, the tenth was rescued and taken to hospital, but the injuries proved too serious, according to the regional prosecutor.

Diego Sinhue Rodriguez, governor of Guanajuato, spoke of a " cowardly attack ", promising to restore order. The state is one of the most violent in Mexico and the scene of the conflict between the cartels of Santa Rosa de Lima and Jalisco Nueva Generacion, which are dedicated, among other things, to drug trafficking and the theft of fuel.
