Argentina, Massa and Milei compete for the presidency
The progressive Peronist in the lead in the first round with 36%, the ultraliberal trailing behind with 30%. Ballot on November 19th
Ballot to decide the new president of Argentina.
Contending for the Casa Rosada will be the progressive and current Minister of Economy Sergio Massa and the ultra-freedom Javier Milei , who will face each other in the "play-off" scheduled for November 19th .
In the first round Massa received more votes (over 36%, supported by the Peronists of Union por la Patria), while Milei, leader of the La Libertad advance party, obtained around 30%.
The conservative Patricia Bullrich (Juntos por el cambia) is further behind, remaining just under 24%.
