The MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford , New Jersey, will host the final of the World Cup in 2026. This was announced by FIFA, which published the calendar of the competition, the first to be played in three states, including Mexico, Canada and USA.

It will therefore be the majestic stadium of the Giants, the famous New York American football team, that will see the cup: the date, already set, is July 19th . More than a month away from the start, which will instead arrive on June 11th, with Mexico City kicking off the dancing (and therefore with the Mexican national team opening the event).

The third-fourth place final, however, will be played in Miami, with the USA also hosting the semi-finals, between Dallas and Atlanta (14 and 15 July). All the quarter-finals will also be stars and stripes: the field will take place in Los Angeles, Kansas City, Miami and Boston. The last "non-US" matches, therefore, will be played in the round of 16.
