Works in the Nuorese ports, inspections by the councilor Salaris in Cala Gonone, Dorgali and La Caletta

This morning the inspection of the regional councilor for public works, Aldo Salaris, took place in Dorgali and Cala Gonone, recipients of two loans on two different interventions - securing the gravestone canal that crosses the town and intervention on the port - for a total value that exceeds 3 and a half million euros.

A second inspection, on the other hand, concerned the port of La Caletta (Siniscola and Posada), following the interdiction of a part of the structure (the breakwater has some problems) by the Port Authority for safety reasons. Here, a series of interventions, quantified at 2 million euros, are urgently envisaged.

"The work to modernize the infrastructures continues with a view to greater efficiency and safety, a commitment that we have made and that we continue to carry out in synergy with the Municipalities, local authorities and all interested parties", explained Salaris during the meetings. which was attended by representatives of the various municipal administrations and the management of the Port Authority.

The port of Cala Gonone in particular - already the object of interest of the Region, which had financed the modernization works of the Harbor Master's Office - is part of the Port Authority Plan and is part of the infrastructures subject to major interventions for an ongoing funding of 3 million euros.

Another important intervention concerns the burial canal that runs along the main street of Dorgali, which will now be secured: for this hydraulic work, a funding of 300 thousand euros had already been provided for the design and another 3 million are coming from the government. .

"These are two important interventions that have the objective of strengthening and modernizing the infrastructures and port systems and which we consider necessary with a view to developing the territory. The attention to Dorgali and the port of Cala Gonone, considered strategic from the point of view from a naturalistic and tourist point of view, it testifies to the Region's will to continue to be a point of reference for the communities, in the awareness that modern and efficient infrastructures correspond to the development and economic growth of the territories ", concluded the exponent of the Giunta Solinas.
