Immediately Mondovì (at home) and Marignano (away): the season of Hermaea Olbia, at the start of the 2023/24 women's A2 volleyball championship, group B, will start with a bang.

But in the first round Dino Guadalupi's team will have the opportunity to play two consecutive home rounds, even if at the halfway point they will have to face two demanding away games like those of Macerata and Mondovì in the space of 4 days. «The start isn't the easiest: we immediately collide against two well-equipped teams, who want to do well, like every year, and I'm not crazy about it, because like every year, we'll have difficulties in making friendly tests against Serie A teams A, so I don't know if we will be able to arrive at the appointment with the right pace», intervenes the general manager of the Gallura club Michelangelo Anile.

«Then, a cycle of matches begins against opponents with whom we will play for the last places to enter the promotion poule. Obviously – clarifies the Hermaea manager – these are reasoning based on the rosters and the recent history of the teams: in the end, as always, it will be the pitch that reveals the real values».

The championship will begin on 8 October, with the 18th and last day on 21 January: after the regular season, the promotion poule and salvation poule will start, which will involve the first five and the last five of the two groups respectively and the promotions will decide (two, one direct, the other to the playoffs) and relegations (as many as 5).

The preparation of the Olbians, in their tenth year in a row in the cadetteria, will instead start at the end of the month: the company will shortly formalize the location and dates of the collection.
