Literature and poetry, music and books to celebrate the arrival of Spring and the artistic legacy of Carlo Valle, an actor who passed away two years ago. With the awards ceremony of the competition, the curtain fell on PLICS, the International Literary Award “Città di Sassari”, at the Teatro Civico.

On Friday the meeting with the journalist and writer Diego Cugia in the city to present his latest novel “Il principe azzurro”, the true story of Corradino di Svevia. On stage to chat with the author, together with Leonardo Onida, creator and organizer of the literary prize and the poetic construction site, also the Rai journalist Mario Mossa.

The winners of the 2024 Plics Award - For the "Published Poetry" section, a prize dedicated to Angelo Mundula, the poem Linnananna Telemimamma (Ed. Kaba) by Annamaria Farabbi won, the critics' award went to the poems "Al di qua di noi" (Ed. Arcipelago Itaca) by Paolo Pistoletti and "L' altalena che non c'era" (Ed. ZTT Est) by Andreina Trusgnach. For the "Unpublished Poetry" section dedicated to Maria Carta, the first prize went to the poem "Kobarid" by Sergio Gallo.

In the “Short Fiction – Story” section, the award dedicated to the writer Salvatore Mannuzzu , the first prize went to Adele Loriga with her “Miele e terra di pietra”, while in the “Novel” section, the award dedicated to the writer Sergio Atzeni, the first prize was awarded to Nicola Brami with “Melinoe vestita di Zafferano" (Ed. Atlantide). Special Mention - Critics' Award to “I fornelli dei naviganti" (Ed. Maxottantotto) by Marialuisa Naitana Azzena.

Finally, for the “Songwriting” section dedicated to Marisa Sannia, the first prize was won by Fabrizio Frabetti with “Cani nella notte” and “Radio dell’Est”. The Critics’ Award went to “Clessidra” and “Cme un’onda” by the group AsAp.
