Wine and territory, the Vermentino Docg of Gallura shows the way

Tomorrow and Saturday a two-day event is scheduled for the promotion of Vermentino Docg di Gallura. The initiative will open with a round table on the theme "New perspectives of national and international exchange between the Wine Routes", scheduled for tomorrow from 9:30 in the Casa del Miele in Monti, preceded by an institutional meeting in the Town Hall.
As highlighted by the president of the association “Strada del Vermentino DOCG Gallura”, Gavino Sanna , «thanks to a series of collaboration proposals from Karla Wursterová, ambassador of the Slovak Republic based in Rome, to the agreements with some member municipalities and after having interfaced with some “cousins” associations of National (Umbria, Sicily, Tuscany) and International (Corsica, Slovakia) Wine Routes, we have planned a “meeting/comparison”, to start national and international exchanges for the promotion of the territory starting from the theme “Wine-Territory”». As Gavino Sanna also highlights, the technical table will be attended by Peter Duda , mayor of Velka Lomnica and president of the GAL Pro Tatry; Zuzana Homolova , director of the Podtatranske Muzeum of Poprad; Fabio Bortolini from the association Pre Mesto (Slovakia); Paul-Jo Caitucoli , mayor of Arghjusta è Muricciu (Argiusta-Moriccio), representative of the Federation of the Corsican Roads Association; Michaela Macikova , managing director of the Tokay Wine Road (Slovakia); Gregorio Sparacino , president of the Federation of the Sicilian Wine Roads; Annamaria Palomba , president of the Cantico Wine Road Association (Umbria); Serena Marinelli , president of the Sagrantino Road Association (Umbria); Giovanni Antonio Sechi , national vice president and regional coordinator of the Città del Vino association; Letizia Marongiu , food and wine tourism expert of the Cannonau Road Association (Nuoro). Representatives of the Sassari Chamber of Commerce, the Alta Gallura Gal, the Laore Sardegna Agency and ONAV Gallura are expected to participate. The debate will be moderated by journalist Marco Bittau and university professor Carlo Marcetti .
The event will have moments of meeting and promotion of the territory in Berchidda, Loiri Porto San Paolo and Tempio.
