Stop the "wind monsters" that damage the landscapes in Sardinia .

Matteo Salvini takes a stand against the wind assault underway on the Island. The leader of the League, Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, intervenes on the issue during a live broadcast on social media, questioned by one of his followers who asks him to "stop the wind turbines in Sardinia".

"I am in favor of all renewable energy and I am in favor of nuclear power," he says, "but you cannot put wind monsters on land or sea that damage the landscapes and ruin wonderful panoramas. Damaging beauties like Sardinia or Puglia with these monsters that bring business to only a few, I don't think is the future of our country ."

The minister also takes a stand in favor of nuclear power, "I am convinced that Italy, in order to be a modern country, must return to investing in the latest generation of nuclear power ."

Salvini also talks about infrastructure in Sardinia, in general terms: «We inaugurated the Diana bridge», he recalls, and announces investments. « We are working on the Sassari-Alghero, the Sassari-Olbia and the port of Cagliari ».
