Severino Zuncheddu, 41, had previously gained experience working in a greenhouse in the Maracalagonis countryside on the road leading to the old Sardinian Orientale, also opening a shop selling agricultural and gardening products. Then, years ago, he moved to Kenya. This is what those who have stayed in touch with him, especially through social media, still say.

Two nights ago, Severino Zuncheddu, originally from Burcei but born in Lodi, Lombardy , died in a tragic car accident in Kenya, where he had settled a few years ago: a terrible collision, his car collided with a large truck. There was nothing that could be done. The emigrant died shortly thereafter, rendering all rescue efforts futile.

Severino Zuncheddu had perhaps returned to Burcei to stay. This wasn't the case. After his work experience in Maracalagonis, he decided to move to the heart of Africa, where he started several businesses to build a future for himself.
