As of today, the low cost airline Volotea restores its connections from the Verona airport to Cagliari , with daily frequency , and from tomorrow to Pantelleria (Saturday and Sunday) and Alghero (up to four frequencies a week).

From May 30th Volotea will depart from Verona also for Santorini (Monday and Thursday). From June 1st it will be the turn of flights to Ibiza and Mykonos (with weekly frequency), on the 2nd with Athens (Thursday and Sunday), Menorca (on Thursdays) and Zakynthos (Monday and Thursday), on the 3rd for Malta (Tuesday and Friday) . Finally, for Heraklion Crete the connections will resume on Wednesday 8 June, with a weekly frequency. From the Verona airport, Volotea's offer includes a total of 17 routes, seven domestic and 10 abroad.

The company will operate a fleet of 41 aircraft, up from 36 in summer 2019, thanks to the arrival of additional Airbus A320s , increasing capacity by around 40% compared to 2019, when the offer was 8 million.

The airline expects to carry between 9 and 9.5 million passengers this year, + 32% more than the record of 2019 (7.6 million).
