Alessia Orro and her teammates have won all 22 of their matches, with a streak of 36 consecutive victories. In terms of sets played in the two competitions, 66 out of 79 have been won, equal to 83%. Italy women lead the FIVB rankings with 484 points, more than 50 points ahead of Brazil (428).

Ferdinando De Giorgi's Azzurri also had an exciting run, winning silver in the 2025 Nations League in China (their first medal in the competition) and then confirming their title as world champions in the Philippines.
