Adriano's ace, once again MVP of the match with 28 points scored, blew up the GeoPalace, the scene of last night's match between Hermaea Olbia and Melendugno.

Against the freshman from Puglia, the white and blue opposite team landed the decisive ball, the one that made it 15-13 in the tie-break which gave Dino Guadalupi's team their second victory in the A2 women's volleyball championship, now in its 7th day.

«It was a blocked match from the start, I had the impression that my team was blocked, and this meant that our opponents got easy points», explained the Gallura coach after the match. «Melendugno changed formation, a move that sometimes made us lose clarity in attack even though we were very consistent in defense. After the victory in the first set, our tension dropped and we gave way to Melendugno's comeback: the girls, as too often happens, look for personal solutions when they are unable to put the ball on the ground quickly", added Guadalupi.

«The most important thing, however, is the result, the greatest engine that gives strength to continue working in a certain way. We can still grow a lot: we must focus on finding the right solutions throughout the match", concluded the coach of Hermaea, who will host league leaders Montecchio on Saturday, again at the GeoPalace.
