The photographic exhibition on display at the i Fenicotteri Shopping Center in Cagliari until April 15th was created with the aim of enhancing a particular area of the Sardinian capital, the banks of Santa Gilla.

The exhibition

Voices from the Lagoon is the artistic project of the photographer Marina Federica Patteri exhibited in the gallery of the I Fenicotteri Shopping Center in Cagliari, one of the shopping centers of the Gallerie Sardegna brand, which identifies the centers managed in Sardinia by the Nhood real estate development and service company. The initiative enjoys the patronage of the Municipalities of Cagliari , Capoterra and Legambiente Cagliari .

The exhibition,Voci dalla Laguna , follows a visual narrative path of a day spent along the banks of Santa Gilla . It begins in the morning, in Giorgino, at the point where the sea and the lagoon meet, and ends at night on the inner part of the eastern bank from which it is possible to see the lights and fumes of the Macchiareddu plants located on the opposite bank. The photographer Patteri took the shots, in different periods of the year, showing the variety of colors and shades that the lagoon environment knows how to relegate in its changing instant after instant. The shots are divided into four sections (morning, afternoon, evening, night) which highlight the naturalistic aspects of the lagoon and its potential. There are also immortalized testimonies of human action, such as fishing, an expression of a lagoon culture whose origins date back to ancient times. Thus the synergy between various expressions gives voice to the silent enchantment of the lagoon on which degradation hangs.
