The charm of science reinterpreted by Vincenzo Schettini arrives on the Island with “La Fisica Che Ci Piace”, the captivating lesson-show directed by Paolo Ruffini for Vera Produzione.
Double appointment tonight, Thursday 13 February, at 8:30 pm at the Teatro Massimo in Cagliari for the “Pezzi Unici” review organized by CeDAC Sardegna, chaired by Antonio Cabiddu and directed by Valeria Ciabattoni, and tomorrow at 9 pm at the Teatro Comunale in Sassari for the program of Le Ragazze Terribili.
A journey through the mysteries of the cosmos, to discover the laws of energy and matter, in the company of the eclectic professor-influencer who lands on stage with all the charm and intelligence of a passionate teacher who has made the diffusion of knowledge his mission.
Art and science intertwine in “La Fisica Che Ci Piace”, the theme and title of the One-Man-Show, as well as of the project born in 2015 on his social channels, followed by over 1 million followers, and of the book published in 2022 by Electa Mondadori, in which Vincenzo Schettini breaks down prejudices and taboos on the study of natural phenomena and the structure of the atom, up to quantum mechanics.
In the Italy of the Third Millennium, despite mass education, mathematical knowledge is not very widespread and while we discuss the impact of artificial intelligence on daily life or the trajectories of spaceships of the future, the science of numbers remains for many a bugbear of school times, not to mention the return illiteracy, all too widespread among adults who tend to forget the notions acquired.
“La Fisica Che Ci Piace” overturns the canons of study, transforming it into fun, driven by curiosity and through examples and anecdotes, but also simple experiments, it awakens the taste for discovery: since the beginning, humanity has tried to investigate the secrets of the universe, from astronomy to the thought of ancient philosophers, to arrive through the millennia to modern physics and chaos theory.
An engaging play in which Vincenzo Schettini, a graduate in physics but also a violinist with a diploma from the Conservatory and founder of the gospel group Wanted Chorus, a lover of science fiction, capable of reconciling logic with the creative spirit, merges his two passions, science and music, to reinvent a new and interesting approach to disciplines traditionally considered "difficult" and incomprehensible to the uninitiated, in a constant dialogue with the public who becomes with him the protagonist of an exciting adventure.
