And instead Giorgia Frau, a 25-year-old from Villasimius, not only graduated in Cagliari in Public Administration Science but - in a completely unexpected way - received the America Giovani award . An award established by the Italy-USA Foundation which is awarded every year to the best Italian university talents.

The recognition was given to him by the Chamber of Deputies. «It doesn't seem true to me – says Giorgia Frau – I dedicate this recognition to all the young people who fight to realize their dreams and also to a teacher and a high school professor who told me that I wouldn't get anywhere ». Giorgia immediately after graduating - last October - went to Switzerland "because I realized that it wouldn't be easy to do what I dreamed of straight away, that is, work in a bank".

In Switzerland she worked as a part-time bartender and continued to send CVs. A few days ago the "yes" also arrived to the many CVs sent: « On Monday 24 June I start my job at the bank, in Castiadas. I'm really happy. I will also continue to study ."
