Max Verstappen's Red Bull won the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, the second round of the 2022 Formula 1 World Championship.

The reigning world champion won a thrilling duel with Charles Leclerc's Ferrari, between overtaking and counter-overtaking in the final laps.

The Ferrari driver fought until the end but had to give up, on the last lap he couldn't even hint at an overtaking attempt because Verstappen managed to take a margin that allowed him to get to the checkered flag first of all.

On the third step of the podium the other Ferrari of Carlos Sainz, fourth the Red Bull of Sergio Perez, who started from pole position.

Fifth George Russell on Mercedes, sixth Esteban Ocon on Alpine. Lewis Hamilton was only tenth, finishing a very difficult weekend in points.
