Universities, Sardinian universities promoted with full marks: good placement in the world ranking
University of Cagliari in 615th position out of over 19 thousand institutions analyzed. The University of Sassari in 954th place
There are 32 Italian universities before the University of Cagliari in the international ranking prepared by the Center for World University Rankings (Cwur) which sees the Cagliari institution at position 615 in the world out of 19,788 institutions analyzed.
A good result, therefore, even if the University of Cagliari was in 604th place in the previous ranking. It is better if you look at the score obtained for the research carried out in Cagliari: 581st position. Instead, it is necessary to reach the 954th position in the standings to find the University of Sassari which improves its performance, however, given that it was in 971th place in the previous survey. Also in this case, the university of northern Sardinia recovers something for its research activities (908th position).
The first among Italian universities, in 11th position worldwide, is the Sapienza University of Rome, followed by Padua (170th), Milan (179th) and Bologna (181th).
