Trapani excluded from the championship: Dinamo's victory invalidated
The decision by the sports judge brings Sassari back to 10 points in the standings.

The Trapani affair, which has poisoned the league's atmosphere and brought terrible publicity to Italian basketball in recent weeks, has finally been resolved. This evening, the National Sports Judge ordered "Trapani Shark's exclusion from participation in the Serie A Championship for the current 2025-2026 season, while retaining the right to register for the open Senior championships."
This measure stems from considering the farcical match against Trento, which ended after less than six minutes because only one player was left on the pitch, as a match "with a team clearly unable to compete with the opponent" and therefore a second forfeit after the match against Virtus Bologna was not played.
Furthermore, "all matches played by Trapani Shark thus far are canceled, as per Article 17, paragraph 3, of the Match Executive Regulations." This means that Dinamo's victory over the Sicilians is also nullified, dropping the Sassari team to 10 points, with a two-point advantage over Reggio Emilia and four over Treviso-Cantù. However, given Trapani's exclusion, there will be only one relegation, not two.
