Forty million euros for the disbursement of employment bonuses for the two-year period 2023 and 2024 in favor of companies in the tourism sector and related related industries operating in Sardinia .

This was decided by the Giunta Solinas, approving a specific resolution, on the proposal of the Councilor for Labour, Ada Lai.

«For the next two years - the words of the president Christian Solinas - we will increase the resources in favor of an increasingly driving sector for the regional economy , supporting regular and fairly paid work. Our land is a privileged destination for millions of visitors who choose it for its natural beauty. It is our duty to adopt adequate policies to relaunch not only the tourism sector but also its related industries , promote employment and make our island increasingly competitive, attractive and welcoming".

"An important structural intervention implemented in continuity with the previous measures - says councilor Lai - this time financed with the ESF+ Sardinia 2021/2027 resources ".

"Even in the forthcoming Notice for Destination Sardinia Work 2023, to be published soon - adds the councilor - the list of beneficiaries is very wide , from accommodation facilities, to bathing establishments and spas to catering, from the management of swimming pools to sports facilities and parks, from real estate brokerage to rental, from entertainment to museum, artistic and cultural activities, from travel agencies to tourist guides, from catering to laundry, cleaning and maintenance services».

"The goal - concludes Lai - is to cut the cost of labor through an incentive proportionate to the gross monthly salary of newly hired young people , under 35 years of age and unemployed over 35, especially women".
