Torres pirate in Ferrara, 2-0 over Spal

The five is on a traditionally stingy field. Torres wins 2-0 in Ferrara and rejects Carrarese's attempt to get closer to second place, who yesterday defeated league leaders Cesena. Heavy result obtained against a Spal team that had won 11 points in the last 5 rounds.

News - In the 6th minute Dalmonte digs to the left, puts it in the middle, Rau hits an angled shot while running, but Zaccagno blocks. Spal pushes a lot in the first minutes, but already in the 10th minute, following Zecca's cross from the right, Diakite's header sends a precise signal with the ball passing one meter from the far post. Ferrara responds with a gore from Peda and the ball lands over the net behind the crossbar. At 16' Diakite sinks and serves Ruocco in the center who stops and follows in the area, but before the shot a providential intervention by Dalmonte. Dalmonte's assist, which is always stinging, is wasted by Petrovic in the area with a half-hearted shot. Cester puts it in the middle in the 34th minute, Diakite twists but the header doesn't have enough strength.

In the second half Fischnaller flares up in the 53rd minute from the left with a low cross, on which Diakite is too early, Zecca arrives on the right but Galeotti closes the shot well with his body. As usual Dalmonte on the left creates dangers and verticalizes for Petrovic in the area, but Zaccagno chooses the right time to deflect.

Torres broke the deadlock in the 59th minute: a short clearance from the defence, Fischnaller blocked it with his chest and calibrated the lob from the edge which surprised the goalkeeper.

Spal has the opportunity to equalize in the 71st minute: Maistro passes to Rabbi who enters the area but clumsily widens the diagonal upon Zaccagno's exit. The rossoblù double their lead in the 74th minute: on an action that seems slow, the new substitute Scotto turns inwards from the right top of the area and shoots hard, Galeotti blocks the shot but Zecca arrives on the rebound and scores.

In the 83rd minute Siligardi tries directly from the right corner, Zaccagno flies to clear the ball directly under the crossbar. Torres close to the third goal in the 87th minute Scotto from the left on the opposite side, where Masala acts as a tower for Ruocco who heads from the small area but the ball ends up on the left post.
