Transfer news suggests a name: Daniele Sorrentino. Torres has taken an interest in the 1997-born Cavese striker, looking to bolster their attacking lineup, deprived of Ernesto Starita, who was sold to Guidonia Montecelio.

Sorrentino is a player suited to playing as a second striker, which is precisely the position sought by the Sassari club, given that Musso and Diakite already have the center forwards. He's scored only four goals this season with Cavese, but at Renate, he averaged nine goals for two seasons.

The transfer window closes on Monday at 8:00 PM. Who knows if the deal will go through or if another striker will become available who could be useful to Torres, who has certainly found the back of the net, but has almost never scored at least two goals, despite creating so many opportunities.
