Alessandra Todde is about to resign from her position as deputy. Proclaimed parliamentarian of the M5S on 10 October 2022, when the centre-right led by Giorgia Meloni came to government, she was elected in the Lombardy 2 constituency.

The role in Parliament is incompatible with that of President of the Region. Todde has convened the Regional Council for next April 9th and by that date - even earlier, therefore, compatible with the activity in Rome - he will opt for the Sardinian position, to arrive at the settlement without incompatibilities.

Today those who asked for Todde's resignation from Montecitorio were Laura Di Napoli, secretary of the Coscioni Sardegna cell, and Gabriele Casanova.

They recalled that "no one can belong simultaneously to a Council or a Regional Council and to one of the Chambers of Parliament or to another Regional Council or to another Regional Council, or to the European Parliament", as established by Article 122 of the Constitution.

Todde is perfectly aware of this and his decisions are in line with the legislation.

Di Napoli and Casanova maintain that «it would have been appropriate to carry out the formal act of resignation the day after the official appointment by the Court of Appeal of Cagliari, for a question of correctness and coherence, beyond the regulatory imposition».

Christian Solinas resigned from the Senate on 20 June 2019: his election dated back to the previous 24 February.
