I believe that citizens and Sardinians care less about how long my interim term will last, but rather how effective it will be. Whether there's a shift in pace and whether the measures we're implementing address the region's healthcare needs. My position is that right now we need to be decisive in our policies. So I believe the issue of the interim term is, so to speak, being exploited by the minority and is a marginal one. I'll keep the interim term in place for as long as it's needed.

This was stated by Regional President Alessandra Todde, interim health councilor, on the sidelines of the commission hearing on social and health issues.

"Right now, we really need to verify that the measures we're implementing in healthcare are effective and that they're actually changing the disastrous situation we've inherited," he added.
