The premise is: "After my father's hospitalization at the San Martino Hospital in Oristano, I would like to express my gratitude through a short letter. Even though the healthcare system is struggling, a small glimmer of light and hope can still be seen."
Then the “letter”.
Dear Union,
I would like to express, also on behalf of my family, my deepest thanks to the Surgery and Gastroenterology departments at San Martino Hospital in Oristano for the great professionalism, expertise, and humanity they demonstrated during my father's hospitalization and surgery. A special thanks goes to all the doctors, who with dedication, availability, and care ensured the best possible care, accompanying him with expertise and sensitivity at every stage of the journey.
Likewise, I would like to extend sincere thanks to my dear nursing colleagues and healthcare assistants, who, with their constant work, presence, and compassion, contribute every day to making patients' care journeys more peaceful. A heartfelt thank you also goes to the assistants, always ready to collaborate with kindness and dedication, a fundamental part of a united and caring team.
We found a welcoming, professional, and humane environment, where collaboration and a sense of responsibility toward patients are values shared by all. Our deepest gratitude goes to all the staff of the Surgery and Gastroenterology departments at San Martino for their work, carried out with skill, dedication, and heart.
