Third consecutive season without Coppa Italia. Dinamo's false starts are becoming a rule and this should lead to a reflection also on how the summer market is approached. A dip can happen in 15 years of Serie A, which have led to unimaginable goals such as the scudetto, four national cups (Italia and Supercoppa Italiana) and a Europe Cup. At the same time the club must reflect on why, as in the last championship, the white and blue team remains in the anonymous area of the standings.

The home defeat at the hands of Varese (81-86) is much more serious than the one in the first championship match against Scafati, because the possibility of continuing to compete for the Final 8 was at stake.

The statements of coach Nenad Markovic are disconcerting: "I think that this team, like last year, cannot win an important match for something". It is like admitting that this team (intended as coach and players) does not have the personality and mental quality to have a constant quality performance.

It was supposed to be the season of relaunch, but after the elimination from the Champions League preliminaries and the failure to reach the Coppa Italia, only the playoffs for the Scudetto remain to avoid another anonymous season.
