Casting is now open for "Bandidos e Balentes 2 - The Showdown," directed by Sardinian filmmaker Fabio Manuel Mulas, who has chosen Sunday, September 21, in Thiesi as his only Sardinian date. From 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., at the Aligi Sassu theater, located at Via Garau 21, potential roles and extras, ranging in age from 7 to 100, will be cast. Following the success of "Bandidos e Balentes - The Unwritten Code," the director and producer of Bono returns to the set to shoot the sequel to the Sardinian film that won international critical acclaim and is the most awarded film in Sardinia, with 191 awards.

The new thriller will be shot entirely on the island, amidst the landscapes of Asinara National Park and its marine protected area, Ogliastra, the Barbagia di Ollolai, the Burgos Forest, and Bono, his hometown. The actors, including a few Neapolitans, are also Sardinian. All are non-professionals, making up a cast that will feature some of the international jet set's most famous figures in special performances. Mulas also pays homage to great Sardinian voices, such as Maria Carta and Andrea Parodi. Set between the 1970s and the 2000s, the film sheds a new light on the world of feuds and the struggle between different factions.
