As regards the clubs, Ascoli was fined (20,000 euros) for having "failed to prevent, in the 26th minute of the second half, the entry into the playing enclosure of two unauthorized persons who, arriving near the pitch, contested the referee's actions with an intimidating attitude and seriously abusive expressions, thus forcing the referee to interrupt the match for about a minute and a half, reiterating this attitude even at the end of the match inside the locker room; in order to have his supporters, during the second half, repeatedly chanted an insulting chorus towards the referee; finally, at the end of the match, he threw three plastic bottles into the playing enclosure, one of which hit a player from the opposing team, causing him temporary pain".

Fines also for Palermo (12,000 euros "for having its supporters, at the beginning of the second half, throw a firecracker into the playing area which exploded near two stewards causing their stunning; moreover, at the end of the match, for having thrown in the sector occupied by the opposing fans a firecracker and a half-full plastic bottle"), again Ascoli (5 thousand euros), Spal (5 thousand euros) and Venice (3 thousand euros) . As for the coaches, a one-day disqualification for Bucchi (Ascoli), while among the managers fines of 5 thousand euros for Neri (Ascoli) and Tacopina (Spal) .
