The son of Fausto Brizzi and Silvia Salis was born: he will bear his mother's surname

The director Fausto Brizzi, 54, and the former hammer operator and vice-president of Coni Silvia Salis, 37, have become parents.

The little one is called Eugenio, like his maternal grandfather, and will bear his mother's surname. «It is important to give a signal, and with a male newborn – they explained a few days before the birth -. Brizzi and Salis got married in Campidoglio three years ago and the following year in the Maldives. She becomes a mother for the first time, while Brizzi is already the father of Penelope Nina, 7 years old, with his ex-wife Claudia Zanella from whom he separated in 2018 after being involved (and then acquitted) in a molestation scandal .

Salis is Genoese but of Sardinian origins: «I have a strong bond with the island – he said in an interview with L'Unione Sarda -. My father grew up in a family where my grandmother spoke Sardinian. My grandparents were from Sassari and my great-grandmother has a crazy story. Apparently she was the illegitimate daughter of a Sardinian and a Piedmontese officer, handsome and very tall.
