“Ciak si Pianta,” the reforestation project promoted by the Premio Solinas Cultural Association , continued this year. It took place recently in La Maddalena in collaboration with the Archipelago National Park and the island's municipality. This initiative, now in its third edition in 2025, combines culture, environment, and social responsibility , aiming to offset the CO₂ emissions generated by the event itself and enhance the area through the planting of native plant species.
Last September 24th, the project focused on a particularly picturesque area of the island, located in the scenic area where the statue of Saint Francis stands, also featuring a children's playground. Here , mastic trees were planted and wooden benches installed , giving the community a well-kept, welcoming, and sustainable green space. A concrete gesture with educational value, it combines the strength of ideas with that of roots, leaving a lasting mark, over time and on the land.
Last year, "Action!" featured the National Park headquarters garden, where some juniper saplings had been planted and have since taken root. The project was carried out by the "Green Thumb Kids," a group of young people with disabilities who tended a garden at the Park's Environmental Education Center on Caprera. The previous year, the first year, the project involved elementary schools, planting trees on Via Indipendenza, in the Moneta district.
