Braille is the writing system for the blind. Sardinian band BlackBoard chose it as their debut album title referring to emotional blindness. The Sardinian trio is made up of Stefano J. Bazzoni (guitar and lead vocals), Raffaele Chighini (drums, percussion and harmonies) and Mario Dionisi (bass).

After the experience on the stage of Sanremo rock 2020, the band started working on the album. Ten unreleased tracks of "Braille" which was anticipated by the release of the singles "Liberi" and "Trenta", for the production of Find The Universe Studios and Valerio Rosati, with graphics by Andrea Milia.

As the band explains, “Braille is what more and more people feel, it's the way they feel more and more often. We wanted to create a sociological concept based on our very personal human experience. The key issue is the fear of becoming emotionally arid, the inadequacy of a certain type of life, one based on appearance. This lack of feeling is compared to the lack of sight, leading to the theory of the concept of emotional blindness ".

From "Atlantic" to "Braille", opening and closing of the album that contains in addition to the singles released a few months ago also "For when the bottom falls", "Twenty thousand leagues", "The bow, the curtain and the Maalox", “Despite water lilies”, Narcissus ”and“ Nagasaki ”.

Turn towards alternative rock style songwriting for a musical project born in Porto Torres five years ago.
