The program of the Days on Monte Arci comes to an end, a project by the Municipality of Morgongiori which, which began in October with the great concert by Maria Luisa Congiu, ends on the occasion of Santo Stefano with the Christmas Gala between Music and Archeology.
An itinerary that wants to bring the attention of enthusiasts and travelers to some peculiarities of the territory that includes excellences such as Sa Scaba 'e Cresia, the hypogean temple dedicated to the worship of water, perhaps datable to the recent Bronze Age, brought to the fore by Roberto Giacobbo in course of the successful program Freedom with plays by millions of viewers, and the typical pasta of Morgongiori, the lorighittas, an agri-food delicacy that is known and loved in the Peninsula and in many foreign countries thanks to the promotion of Sardinian clubs around the world.
In consideration of the unstable weather forecast for the Christmas holidays, the event, initially designed to be held outside the site of Monte Arci, will be held this evening, Sunday 26 December, in the Church of Santa Maria Maddalena starting at 17.30.
The program of the event will be very rich, presented by the artist Marina Desogus and which will see the AMaMe Vocal Trio of Arborea alternate in the particular scenery of the suggestive church of Morgongiori, an ensemble of three talented singers who for some years have been carrying out a varied repertoire that aims much on Christmas atmospheres, Maestro Riccardo Zinzula pianist, tenor and choir director among the most appreciated in the national field, and singer Carla Denule, standard-bearer of Sardinian folklore and appreciated in Italy and abroad as a representative of the island's popular culture.
After the first part dedicated to Sardinian artists, the stage of the Church will be all for the highly anticipated international guests, Darnell Moore & The Gospel Chorale, one of the most popular American groups worldwide, for the first time in Sardinia for an intense tour with strong musical emotions.
Admission to the event is free subject to availability upon presentation of the Green Pass.
