A tasty preview of the fall/winter tour. This Sunday, Parco Giardino on Via Umberto in Putifigari hosts a concert at 6 p.m. by Nomadi, Italy's longest-running band, formed in 1963.
The band, still led by keyboardist and accordionist Beppe Carletti, has enjoyed a 62-year career. With over 53 studio, live, and compilation albums, Nomadi have made history in Italian music and are spoiled for choice when it comes to their concert lineup. From "Io vagabondo" and "Dio è morto" to "Noi non ci saranno" and "Tedeum," from "Io voglio vivere" to "Auschwitz," and many other hits, their music unites generations and conveys messages of freedom, commitment, and emotion.
The concert closes the 40th Mycological Exhibition of Capo di Sopra.
