The documentary by Salvatore Gulisano is entitled "The Moby Prince Mystery" which reconstructs the dynamics of the disaster that occurred on April 10, 1991 and in which 140 people died.

The film will be broadcast on Thursday 20 October in prime time on Rai2 .

Tonight in Livorno the national preview will be held at the Creative Hangars. Produced by Simona Ercolani and Stand by me for Rai Documentari, explains a note, the docufilm was shot thanks to the collaboration with the second commission of inquiry of the Chamber and presents unpublished documents, numerous interviews and testimonies from family members, journalists and authorities.

The preview, in the presence of the protagonists of the documentary, family members and victims' associations, will be preceded by speeches, among others, by the mayor of Livorno Luca Salvetti, by the director of Rai Documentari Fabrizio Zappi and by Simona Ercolani.

A month ago the sensational conclusion of the report of the parliamentary commission of inquiry after little more than a year of work, which began on 13 July 2021, on the greatest catastrophe of the Italian civilian navy.

The tragedy was caused by a third ship “suddenly appeared in front of the ferry which caused a left turn which then led to the accident”.
